Livid Lotus Hydrosol Toner

A hydrosol is the water that remains after the process of extracting an essential oil from a botanical material through hydro-distillation or steam distillation. Our Livid Lotus, a blue lotus hydrosol toner, is one example of this. The blue lotus is a type of water lily that typically grows in tropical areas. It is also known as the Egyptian lotus.

There are a few ways you can add a hydrosol to your beauty rituals besides using it as a gentle toner. Here are some ideas:

• Your Ritual: After cleansing, spritz your skin generously with a hydrosol and leave it to dry.
