Sweet Flag/Calamus

"Referred to as sweet flag in English, Vayambu in Malayalam, Vasambu in Tamil, Vacha in Hindi, this herb as a rhizome (root) features in several home remedies. Sweet Flag is a water-loving plant native to marshy areas in the northern hemisphere, At first sight, the brown herb looks nondescript, when it is in fact a highly aromatic plant that supports the proper function of the lymphatic system and enlivens the skin. Sweet Flag is particularly known for its intense moisturizing, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. It contains powerful anti-inflammatory compounds that are known to help reduce pain, redness, and swelling due to inflammation."

Indian Copperleaf (Kuppaimeni)

"Kuppaimeni (Indian copperleaf) is the Tamil word for the herb Acalypha Indica. It has been found to have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties when applied topically. In skincare, it is used to polish, soften, and brighten the skin, as well as help alleviate inflammation caused by blemishes."

Coriander Essential Oil

Coriander is also said to deter signs of aging that may come as a result of stress, sun exposure and environmental pollution."

• Your Ritual: Only for use on cleansed skin. Either directly roll on the skin or get a small amount on a clean fingertip and apply it on acne and post acne dark spots and leave it on. Use the oil as the last step of your skincare routine/ritual. Wait for 20 - 30 minutes before applying sunscreen or makeup.
