Mrdutva Cleansing Oil/Makeup Remover

Soft skin is within reach. Mṛdutva (मृदुत्व) translates to softness, tenderness, mildness. It felt like the perfect descriptor for my latest cleansing oil. This un-fussy formula is great for all kinds of facial cleansing, but especially brilliant for removing makeup. Mrdutva has a gorgeous, velvety skin-feel and rinses off beautifully, leaving skin clean but not dry and squeaky.

Hemp Seed Oil

Hemp seed oil is rich in omega acids 3, 6, and 9, which are known to strengthen the skin barrier and create a protective seal that locks in moisture. It also acts as a humectant, attracting moisture to the skin. This oil contains compounds that can alleviate oxidative stress, a common cause of skin damage and signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines. Furthermore, hemp seed oil can help combat aging by promoting skin brightness, reducing dullness, and increasing collagen production. Additionally, it regulates sebum production and possesses anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, keeping the skin healthy and blemish-free.

Watermelon Seed Oil

Watermelon seed oil is a light and quickly-absorbing oil that delivers a diverse array of skin-nourishing nutrients, such as linoleic and oleic acid, omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids, and vitamins A, B, and E, as well as essential minerals including magnesium, iron, copper, and potassium. This oil deeply penetrates the skin, effectively removing impurities, dirt, and dead skin cells, making it an ideal choice for cleansing. Its high linoleic acid content aids in clarifying pores by dissolving dirt and impurities, resulting in a cleansed and nourished complexion and helping to address oily skin and acne.

• Your Ritual Option 1: To use, dispense a 10 cent-sized amount of cleansing oil into your palm, and work it up with a bit of warm water. Massage that into your face before wiping it off with a damp microfiber cloth. Follow up with a second cleanse using a water based cleanser.
• Your Ritual Option 2: Rinse your face with warm water and while it is still damp, appy Mrdutva and massage into your face and neck in circular motions - upwards and out, for several minutes. Allow the oil to break up and dissolve makeup and any blockages. Gently remove the oil with a clean damp washcloth for makeup removal or extra exfoliation.
