Jaded Java Scrub
Even the most avid skincare enthusiast might become jaded by the weekly routine of removing dead skin. Jaded Java is an exfoliating body treatment with a stimulating aroma of coffee that is designed to rejuvenate this particular ritual.
Ground coffee particles are an example of a physical exfoliant that relies on abrasive ingredients to mechanically remove dead skin cells. This allows any active ingredients you use after the fact to absorb more deeply.
According to dermatologists, “caffeine increases the local microcirculation of the skin and can potentially help make the skin look less puffy for a brief period of time.”
“Sweet almond is a non-fragrant oil used as an emollient and to help skin retain moisture. It is a rich source of skin-replenishing ingredients, including triglycerides and several fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic, and myristic acids. Sweet almond oil also has antioxidant properties.”
“Tamanu oil consists of phospholipids and glycolipids, which are natural components of healthy-looking skin and are good hydrating agents.”

- Your Ritual: Wet skin, apply scrub in circular motions; start at your feet and move upwards towards your heart to enhance circulation. Maintain gentle pressure. Leave on for 2 - 3 minutes.
